About The Lovely Cake Company

The Lovely Cake Company was born out of a desire to create fun birthdays cakes for children. Fiona Love started baking with the arrival of Megan and then Fraser creating Minnie Mouse, Scooby Doo, Elsa, Bart Simpson and many more. It soon grew through word of mouth and recommendation and quite rapidly The Lovely Cake Company was established,, gaining a reputation particularly for fondant characters from children's films and storybooks.

From a homebaker to a full time cake designer has been a fun journey. In 2012 Fiona was privileged to be awarded a silver medal at the International Cake Show at the NEC for her decoration of a Haunted House. Fiona has been lucky to have been able to create some amazing cakes for many wonderful people, helping them to celebrate special occasions and mark memorable life events.

All cakes are baked fresh to order using local sourced ingredients of the highest quality. Taste is as important as the look of the cake, ensuring that the enjoyment goes beyond just the cutting.

With the increasing prevalence of dietary restrictions and allergies The Lovely Cake Company are very happy to create gluten free, lactose free and other allergen free cakes and treats.
